September 17, 2008 -- Well, we dodged a bullet and missed most of the effects of "IKE" - unfortunately we also missed the much needed rain. Our hearts and prayers do go out to all the folks who have suffered loss due to this devastating storm. Current lake level is 14.87 feet below spillway. We are still using the main ramp, but getting ready to groom the back one to have continuous launchability. Divers, get your tanks ready and make your reservations now for the Dive World 31st Annual Underwater Pumpkin Hunt scheduled for October 24-26. Primitive campsites and RV sites still available. The burn ban has been lifted, so campers, come on out. Cooler temps, campfires, sing-a-longs, hot dogs and s'mores are beckoning you and the kids to plan your fall camping trip.
