Spring Is Here!

March 7, 2007 -- Well, at least the birds and trees are telling us spring is here even if not officially by the weathermen! We are still able to launch boats 20' and under. All others we are sending over to Red Cove. The last time we checked the lake was down 36' below the spillway. According to fishermen reports, the black bass, white bass and crappie are biting. For those of you interested in the water temp, the divers reported last Sunday that it's 54 degrees...brrrr! Spring break in the San Antonio area is March 10 thru 18, and we will be open all week for your convenience and enjoyment. For those of you who may have gone to the boat show at the end of January and still have the urge to buy one at a "less than new price," give us a call...we have several boats and a motor for sale.

Don't forget to book early for Easter before we fill up. Since cascarones have proven fatal to some of the area wildlife, we are not allowing them this year, but we are permitting pinatas. And we have plenty of room for Easter egg hunts. See you soon.
